Let's Get Curling, Halifax! Second Session!

LET'S GET CURLING, HALIFAX! 2nd SESSION!

Due to high demand, we have added a 2nd session!

Were you watching curling during the Olympics thinking "I would love to try that!?" Well here's your chance to give it a go!

WHEN: Friday, March 6 from 5:00-7:00pm 

WHERE: Halifax Curling Club, 948 South Bland St., Halifax

This event is for beginners looking to give curling a shot! Curling instructors will be working with groups of 2-8 people to cover curling basics and get you playing a game in no time!

Sign up as an individual or with friends/family!

Open to adults and minors ages 12+. Participants under 18 must register with a parent/guardian.

Online registration and payment is required. $25 + tax per person.

Required Equipment: Clean pair of indoor sneakers to change into. We recommend wearing warm, stretchy or loose-fitting clothes. Helmets encouraged (not provided) and especially recommended for youth.

Rough schedule: 

• 5:00 - 5:15pm Safety/Equipment
• 5:15 - 5:45pm Delivering a Stone
• 5:45 - 6:00pm Sweeping and Rules
• 6:00 - 7:00pm Play a Game!

CANCELLATION POLICY: Withdrawals from the event will be fully refunded up to Mar 5, 2025. The event will require a minimum of 8 total participants to avoid cancellation. You will be notified by March 5.
