*New* Slay Wednesday – 2SLGBTQIA+ Curling and Social League

Wednesdays, Standing draw time: 8:30pm, 6 ends of play, social component following games

Open to members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community including friends, family, and allies! Scheduled league, register as individual(s) or a team. Open to all experience levels. Beginner friendly – includes brief Learn to Curl component for new players the first few weeks.

Come out to our SLAY WEDNESDAY OPEN HOUSE on Saturday, September 20th from 6:30pm - 8:30pm!! You can get on the ice, meet other Slay Wednesday members, and chat with staff and members of the Halifax Curling Club! All you need to bring are a clean pair of sneakers!

Curling instructors will be on ice to help guide you while you try out the sport!

A junior curling program open to beginner-level curlers with 0-2 yrs experience.

Age: 8-15 years

Length: 7 weeks

Time: Sundays, 8:30am-10:00am

Dates: Oct 19, Oct 26, Nov 2, Nov 9, Nov 23, Dec 7, Dec 14 (No session Nov 16 or Nov 30)

Cost: $122.81+HST

Max 24 participants. First-time curlers or those returning with slightly more experience will be grouped accordingly. Coaches will tailor the sessions to the group's experience level.

7-Week Beginner Program for Adults (18+)

• Sundays 10:30am - 12:30pm. Dates are Oct 19, Oct 26, Nov 2, Nov 9, Nov 23, Dec 7, Dec 14 (No session Nov 16 or Nov 30)
• Cost: $175/person + HST
• Equipment: Clean, indoor gym sneakers. 

No experience necessary. Individual registration welcome. Helmets are optional (not provided). All other equipment (brooms, stabilizers, grippers) are available for use at the club.
